Pocket Bravery Looks to Enter the Fighting Game Scene

Hits Like the Classics

When we think about classic and iconic fighting games, we immediately go to Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, and other titles from that era of gaming. Those franchises have lasted a really long time for a good reason, and while a new studio will want their own identity in gaming, there’s no shame in reaching back in time to try to capture what made those games special. One look at Pocket Bravery and you can tell what these folks grew up playing. Statera Studio’s Indiegogo campaign for Pocket Bravery will begin soon.

Pocket Bravery

In the trailer for Pocket Bravery, we see its pixel art style and animated backgrounds borrowed from the fighting games of the 90s like Street Fighter. It’s also got a sweet soundtrack like Guilty Gear. There are familiar gameplay elements like special gauges and signature moves and abilities. We only see a handful of playable characters, but maybe there will be more if the crowdfunding campaign is successful. The trailer is short, but shows fighting game fans exactly what they need to see to get excited.

Pocket Bravery’s Indiegogo campaign has yet to really begin, and when it does, hopefully the fighting game community comes out to its interest. The details of its release are scarce, but once we see some of Statera Studio’s goals for the game, we may get a better idea of when fans can get their hands on it. Pocket Bravery is expecting to release for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
