Nintendo Switch Players Get a Monster Hunter Rise Demo Next Month

Can’t Spell “Demolish” Without “Demo”

2021 will certainly be a year for Monster Hunter. There’s going to be Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2, both of which will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch. These two games will have some cross-title features, though Capcom has not really delved too deep into details on that. One of the new items to the series coming in Monster Hunter Rise will be the Wirebug. This tool will help players navigate the verticality of the world, which Capcom is putting an emphasis on in this title. Players will be able to get a taste of how it works in the Monster Hunter Rise demo.

Monster Hunter Rise Demo

Over the past few days, fans have been treated to a few gameplay trailers, including one from the Game Awards. Yesterday, Capcom released a couple of teasers highlighting the combat with the Bow and the Dual Blades. While more footage of the game is certainly welcome, it does not really show us what the demo will entail. We know the demo will be released in January, just not what players will be doing in it, other than the obvious monster hunting.

After playing the Monster Hunter Rise demo, be sure to secure the edition of the game you want. There are a few different bonus items and exclusive content included in the pre-order and the Deluxe Edition, if the game wins you over. Monster Hunter Rise will be out exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 26th, 2021 and a demo will be playable in January.
