Fans Believe They’ve Just Discovered the Gotham Knights Release Date

Rumor: The Gotham Knights Release Date May Have Just Been Revealed

As a Christmas present to Batman/DC fans Warner Bros. Montreal has just released a tweet that some are believing to be a hint at Gotham Knight’s release date. It’s a simple Christmas Gotham Knights photo, however there are some dates that can be seen on a poster in the background and many fans think that this alludes to something big.

Gotham Knights Gameplay

Back in August this year Warner Bros. Montreal officially revealed their upcoming Batman title, called Gotham Knights and people have been pretty excited ever since. There have been small info drops here and there, including one about cosmetics just a few days ago. That said, we have no idea when the game is set to release and so far WB has kept this pretty close to the chest. So of course gamers and fans alike are looking for every little hint or teaser to discover this very release date. If the tweet and fan theory are anything to go by then it’s believed that Gotham Knights will be released in the summer of 2021.

In the tweet on the official Gotham Knights Twitter account there is a photo that shows off a poster right in the center. This poster looks to be an advertisement for a circus that will be in town from July 16th to July 21st, Tuesday through Sunday. Despite these dates not matching up with July 16th and July 21st of 2021 (which is Friday to Wednesday in real life) fans are sure that this tweet is a nod towards the release date falling on July 16th as it’s a Friday. Of course there’s no way to know for sure if this was just an image from the game itself or if something interesting will be happening between those dates this year. Who knows, maybe the fan speculation is right, or maybe we’ll get to see some sort of trailer or announcement then. Looks like we’ll just have to wait to find out. You can check out the tweet for yourself below.
