A Fantasy of Singlehandedly Saving the Earth
We can all agree that 2020 has been A Year, capitals required, but it’s been especially hard on kids. Facing down one crisis after another is rough enough when you’re an adult and you have some perspective. When you’re young and living through your first major major disaster, it can be difficult to keep your spirits up. If you have a kid in your life who’s succumbing to the existential anxiety of a child that’s suddenly realized how tenuous the human condition really is, we suggest you cheer them up with a brightly-colored fantasy of being able to enact meaningful change in the world. Elva the Eco Dragon is definitely cute enough to banish those negative thoughts!
In this 3D action-adventure title, players take on the role of Elva, a tiny dragon with big eyes and bigger dreams. Elva cares very much about the environment, and because video games don’t have to worry about a corrupt fossil fuels industry or power companies sabotaging our attempts at going green, she can actually do something about pollution and waste. Players will recycle, plant trees, and exchange plastic bags for paper ones over the course of seven levels–and, because this game is a power fantasy, you’ll also singlehandedly clean the seas and the atmosphere. Titan Deep Space Company knows what the people want.
Elva the Eco Dragon has been in early access for a while, but the final build will contain new mechanics and abilities. Game features include:
- 3D action adventure game in third personÂ
- Help Elva, a little dragon, who protects our planet from pollution and waste.
- Seven levels in total.
- Recycle, plant trees and change plastic bags for paper ones.
- Clean the seas and the atmosphere.
- New abilities added: flying, cleaner power and forest power.
Rock on, Elva. And who knows? Maybe, if we work together, what we learn in this game can be brought into the real world. Not the flying, sadly, but the saving our planet thing would still be pretty awesome.
Elva the Eco Dragon is now available on PC and Mac for $12.99 USD.
