And How Does It Fit Into 400 Pages?
These days, having a strategy guide or supplementary literature for a game is pretty niche. When there are wikis for every game under the sun, it seems almost silly to have a physical book to look through when playing a game, but the Cyberpunk 2077 guide book looks pretty impressive anyway. Piggyback Interactive is coming out with a guide book for our favorite futuristic game that hasn’t come out yet. It is just hard to believe that a game as massive as Cyberpunk 2077 is promised to be can be crammed into a book.
Piggyback says that their Cyberpunk 2077 guide can lead players through every quest in any way they want, with flowcharts of where decisions will lead you, all without spoiling the game. It also contains detailed information on all weapons and tools that V can use on their journey through Night City. Speaking of Night City, this guide has all kinds of high resolution maps of the city, locations, and collectibles. As for the city’s inhabitants, there are detailed bios and breakdowns of the important figures, gangs, and lore of Night City as well.
The guide book comes in a Standard Edition and a Collector’s Edition. The Standard one is paperback and the Collector’s Edition is hardcover. The hardcover has some bonus pages described as a “Visual tour of Night City’s unrestrained hospitality and leisure industries through a selection of images from poster and TV campaigns along with associated branding.” Cyberpunk 2077 and the guide book come out on the same day, December 10th for PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One, and will be available at a later date for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
