Amidst The Madness That Was TGA Thursday
We were blasted with a whole lot of news this week. Between The Game Awards and the meteor strike that was Cyberpunk 2077, there’s been a lot to keep track of. Which is why I’m taking care to remind you that NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is coming out next April. They even dropped a gameplay trailer! Hoo boy, this game is looking slick.
Even if you’re familiar with this entry in the NieR series, the footage in question will be pretty fresh. Everything looks amazing, sounds incredible, and honestly this game can’t get here soon enough. The soundtrack in particular seems like it’s been given a serious upgrade, one that evokes NieR Automata immediately. The only downside is that April seems farther off than ever, now.
The Replicant remaster is coming to PC, PS4, and the Xbox One on April 23rd, 2021. Pre-orders for the game are open right now, in case you’re looking to be proactive about this one. While recent events have put a real shadow on pre-orders as a concept, I feel pretty good about putting money down for this game. Automata built up a lot of faith in the franchise overall, you see.
