Black Friday is quickly approaching and this year it is looking a little bit different. Concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic are making retailers rethink the way they handle the annual sales event with many retailers focusing online or spreading the sales out over a longer period of time to reduce the amount of foot traffic going in and out of the stores this year.
GameStop has just announced their “Black Friday Countdown” sales event to get the sales season going a little bit earlier this year. The offers are valid beginning on Saturday, November 14th and will run until Wednesday, November 18th.
The sale will include a range of deals for all types of gamers.
Nintendo Switch fans can look forward to deals on accessories such as $9.99 for the Nintendo Switch Fight Pad Pro, as well as only $39.99 on select games, including Super Mario Bros Deluxe, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion, and more.
PC gamers can look forward to deals such as $100 savings on MSI laptops, 50% off exclusive PC bundles, and deals on gaming computer chairs and accessories such as keyboards and mice.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users can find deals on games like Borderlands 3 for $19.99, Devil May Cry 5 for $15.99, Hitman 2 for $14.99, FIFA 21 for $69.99, and more.
GameStop has a variety of payment options available this year to give customers more options for their holiday shopping. This includes a layaway program and the recently introduced Xbox All Access Program, giving customers the option to “buy now, pay later” when checking out.
These deals go live tomorrow and only run for a few days so make sure to head down to your local GameStop and take advantage of them as soon as possible.
