Don’t Call It a Comeback
To the delight of football fans across the country, week three of the NFL’s first season amidst the COVID-19 pandemic kicks off tonight. But, while the return to the gridiron has been a ton of fun to watch, players of the Madden NFL series have been left wondering if the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the coronavirus have left them in the dark.
It’s undeniable that since the launch of Madden NFL 21, EA Sports has worked diligently to correct the issues plaguing the controversial title. And, though it still sits on Metacritic with the lowest user-score of all-time, the developers aren’t sitting on their hands waiting for the heat to die down. Another patch has just hit consoles, promising to fix much of what’s been irking the community.
