EA Access Has A Steam Page Now

No Release Date Yet Though

Recently it was announced that EA Access was coming to Steam. Well, it’s still coming to Steam very soon, only now there’s a Steam landing page to corroborate this information. Soon we might even have a release date! This comes after EA’s latest games delivery system spent the first part of it’s life chained to Origin.

EA Access

If you aren’t familiar with EA Access and its perks, users get their hands on game deals, beta access, and and instant access to a catalog of games. Titles like Sims 4, Star Wars Battlefront II, Titanfall 2, and A Way Out end up in your hot little hands as soon as you sign up. Great news for Steam users right?

Of course, you’ll still need Origin on your computer. The fine print on the landing page specifies that “EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.” In other words, players still won’t be free of EA’s home-grown DRM software if they want to play their games on PC. The service will set you back $30 USD a year if you’re interested. Assuming you can handle having one more games subscription nipping at your bank account. EA Access will be on Steam “very soon.”
