The next Animal Crossing: New Horizons update is coming on July 30th! Part 2 of the summer update series includes fireworks shows, a more sophisticated island backup and restoration service, and even dreaming! While the features list isn’t as exciting as previous updates, you can’t overstate the value of a better backup system, honestly.
The fireworks shows will happen every Sunday throughout August. Redd will be hosting a raffle during every show, with a decent selection of goofy prizes to choose from. Players can even design their own custom fireworks, to be launched during the event! So if you were to submit your town’s flag, maybe something with a neon green skull in the middle, you could see that design in fireworks form. If that’s something you’re into.
Finally, players can hop on their bed and do a little dreaming. You can visit other player’s islands, or even show off your own! The important detail to remember here is that this is a dream, so any alterations, or harvesting, or vandalism, is pretty much consequence-free. Go nuts, is what we’re saying.
