All Three Definitive Editions In One Release
The Mafia Trilogy is getting a new release, with all three Definitive Editions being bundled into a single package. This bundle also serves as the announcement for the release of Mafia: Definitive Edition, which is a complete remake of the first game. All of this is coming out on August 28th, 2020.
If you’re somehow unfamiliar with the Mafia franchise, this might come off as somewhat confusing. The Definitive Editions of Mafia II and III are already out there, in the wild. And in fact, anyone who pre-orders this bundle will unlock II and III immediately, with the first one coming in August. Make no mistake, that first game is the star of the show here.
Mafia I is getting a full, top-to-bottom makeover. Every element is being reworked for the August release. 4K visuals, an original score, and brand new cutscenes will all change the game for even experienced fans in significant ways. New characters and new vehicles, as well as an expanded version of Lost Heaven, will also make their debut. Fans looking for more details can look forward to seeing them during the 2020 PC Gaming Show online conference happening on June 6th.
