I Am the Conductor of the Poop Train!
Last week’s Borderlands Show had a couple of big reveals, as well as an itty-bitty tease. We got a quick look at the third major DLC Bounty of Blood and the next free content update Takedown at the Guardian Breach. When the second DLC was revealed, we also got a look at some concept art for the upcoming Bounty of Blood campaign and Gearbox did the same with this reveal by giving us a taste of what’s to come next, and boy howdy, it’s going to be one shiny meat bicycle.
The concept are for the next DLC shows Krieg, one of the bonus Vault Hunters for Borderlands 2 and a fan favourite character. Previous DLCs also had past Vault Hunters show up; Handsome Jack’s clone from The Pre-Sequel and Gaige from Borderlands 2. The art also shows a very distinctive split in the middle; a very direct commentary on Krieg’s dual personality. What this reveals about the upcoming DLC is anyone’s guess, but it stands to reason that it might follow in the footsteps of The Pre-Sequel’s Claptastic Voyage DLC where the Vault Hunters enter the mind of Claptrap. A look into the two minds of Krieg could be very interesting.
With Bounty of Blood still a month away, the reveal of the fourth Borderlands 3 DLC pack is further still. It probably won’t be until August or September until it is revealed, but we can speculate until then. Borderlands 3 is available now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
What do you think will be in the fourth DLC? Let us know in the comments below.
