Tomb Raiderโ€™s 2013 Reboot Is 100% Off for a Limited Time

Crystal Dynamicsโ€™ 2013 Tomb Raider reboot and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris are both currently free on Steam until Monday at 11:59 PM PDT/2:59 AM EDT (which is on Tuesday). The sale is part of a โ€œstay home and playโ€ campaign started by Square Enix in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

โ€œGamers are part of a global community,โ€ a Square Enix blog post read. โ€œWe regularly rally together online to return balance to fantasy kingdoms, recruit crew to save the universe from sci-fi threats, and indulge in healthy competition through high-octane action games. For others, shifting to both online work and play is unfamiliar territory.โ€

โ€œWith this in mind, weโ€™re offering a gift to our community. Starting right now through Monday, March 23 at 11:59PM PDT, weโ€™re releasing both Tomb Raider (2013) and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for free on Steam,โ€ the blog post continued.

In order to get both free games youโ€™ll need a Square Enix Members Account (which can be made for free), head to the โ€œMy Ordersโ€ section of the Purchase History page after getting the games through the Square Enix Store, unlock the activation keys, and then finally activate & install the games through Steam.

The next two reboot games, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, are also on sale on Steam. If youโ€™re thinking of getting all three then weโ€™ve got reviews for the first, second, and third game in the reboot trilogy.
