Resident Evil 3’s Save Rooms Will Be Nemesis-Free
On Friday, there was preview info being spread about Resident Evil 3’s Nemesis being able to follow players into the game’s usually enemy-free save rooms. The info came from a preview article in Official Xbox Magazine and was initially met with a lot of excitement since this would’ve been a major change from how save rooms worked in previous Resident Evil games (including the original Resident Evil 3).
However, it turns out that Official Xbox Magazine was completely wrong.
An editor for the magazine confirmed on GamesRadar later that day that the article’s author had mistaken an area with “a progress-saving typewriter” for a save room. Capcom also confirmed to Polygon that Nemesis will be blocked from entering save rooms (similar to how Resident Evil 2 remake’s Mr. X wasn’t able to enter these areas).
What do you think of this news? Would you have liked Nemesis being able to enter save rooms or do you think that it’s better for him to be restricted from those rooms? Are you excited for Capcom’s upcoming remake next month? Go ahead and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below the article.
