No Idea When Though
Netflix announced on Twitter this week that Castlevania is getting a season four! This is great news for anyone like me, who just finished the third season and has some questions left to answer. There’s no release date yet (of course), but I’ll likely be sitting on these burning queries for a good while yet.
While this might hardly seem like news, Netflix has developed a sharp and ruthless axe for shows that don’t meet their expectations. Castlevania’s continued existence is a testament to the show’s enduring quality, as well as Netflix’s good judgment. While we’re on the subject, what can we expect from Season 4?
Spoilers abound! Well, now that we’ve seen the face of old Vlad Tepes once again, does that mean he’s returning at some point? Dracula’s constant resurrection is a major element of the games, so it makes sense that it would make its way into the show as well. Also, the Sisters might finally make that army they’ve always wanted, and maybe Alucard will really grow into his bad boy phase. Do some more impaling of his own, make a mark on the world. Hopefully we see the show’s return by next year.
