Former Pro Addresses Esports Adderall Problem

Everybody’s On It, Apparently

Esports has a serious Adderall problem! This is one of those uncomfortable truths that everyone has heard about, but no one talks about. Like steroids in other sports, Adderall is a gritty like spectre haunting more or less every professional league. Adam “Killa” Sloss recently opened up about the Adderall issue in the Call of Duty Esports community. It’s everywhere, you see.

According to Killa, “Nobody talks about it because everyone is on it.” He’s personally witnessed abuse of the drug multiple times. It turns out easily-acquired prescription medication is a super convenient shortcut to boosted concentration and performance. Who would have guessed?

Killa stepped back from the pro Call of Duty scene in 2019, in large part due to the rampant Adderall abuse that was happening. It’s becoming common knowledge among aspiring competitors that Adderall is the way to get good at these games, since so many of the best players are using it. If this keeps up, we could start seeing 20 year old players suffering heart attacks. Yes, amphetamine abuse is also a convenient shortcut to serious health issues. It remains to be seen what measures will be taken (if any) to prevent this problem from getting any worse.
