Free Wargroove DLC Is on its Way in Early February

Get Into the Wargroove

Chucklefish’s Wargroove suffered a few delays during its development, but once it was released, it earned the hearts of fans and the praise of critics, including our own. We are coming up on the one year anniversary of its release and are now getting word of some free Wargroove DLC. According to the trailer, Double Trouble adds something new to almost every aspect of the original game, including factions, locations, and campaigns. It also improves online multiplayer functionality.

Wargroove DLC

The new faction is called the Outlaws, and they have their own brand new campaign to play. They consist of three commanders; the hammer-swinging Wulfar, the whip-wielding Vesper, and the double-team twins Orla and Errol. In addition to the vanilla locations, players can now explore a volcanic map with dangerous lava pools. The commanders can also command two new sets of units; Riflemen and Thieves. If you want to play online, you can now create lobbies to set yourself up with strangers and friends alike. You can check it all out in the trailer below.

Wargroove was released on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on February 1st, 2019 and on PS4 on July 23rd. Almost in time for the first anniversary of the game, the Double Trouble DLC will be coming out on February 6th, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It will be coming out on PS4 at a later, unspecified date. And best of all, it’s free. Check out our review of Wargroove on our site.
