The Epic Games Store is Kicking Off 2020 With Three Free Games

Start The New Decade Off the Right Way

The Epic Games Store has been giving away free games throughout December like they were the United Nations giving aid to countries in need. The online store has been very charitable during the Holiday season and now they are continuing their goodwill into 2020. Epic Games is starting the new decade by handing out three new free games to those who have an account with them.  If you don’t have an account, now might be a good time to sign up.

From January 1st – 9th players will have access to Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition, and Steep. These are by no means the most sought after games in the world, but it is hard to complain when you don’t have to pay a dime to get your hands on them.

The Darksider series has had its ups and downs, but they are generally solid titles that are worth looking into. If you are a fan of games like God of War or other beat’em up games, you should check it out. You’ll be able to get a good taste of what the franchise is all about since both the first and second games are available.

Steep, on the other hand, is undoubtedly the lesser know game of the trio. It is a snowboarding game that lets the player take control of world-class snowboarders. There really isn’t anything too complex about the game, but there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes simplicity is what works best and Steep is a good example of that. Steep is definitely a call back to the classic snowboarding games that were popular in the early 2000s.

If you want to get in on the action you’ll need to act quickly. This deal will expire by next week.
