More Games Have Also Been Added This Week
Stadia will be adding two new major titles to their service in January 2020. They will be kicking off the decade right by making Rise of the Tomb Raider and Thumper available to their customers. There have also been a handful of new games that were added this week as well.
The Rise of the Tomb Raider was originally released in 2015 and was well received by fans. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive and it is generally regarded as a great addition to the classic video game series. It paints the famous protagonist Launa Croft in a much different light than previous titles. The story is compelling and the gameplay is tight and crisp. The revival of the Tomb Raider series has gone very well. Something that cannot be said about most reboots.
The first Tomb Raider game of the reboot series is currently available on Stadia if you want to gain a little bit of back story. It will be up for grabs until the beginning of January. It should also be noted that Destiny 2, Samurai Showdown and the legendary Farm Simulator are also going to be sticking around until January too.
Thumper is a much more obscure game but it still seems like it has a lot to offer. It is described as a “rhythm violence game” that is available for both PS VR and the PS4. Whichever way you chose to play it, you are not going to be in for a very conventional experience. It is very unique.
Subscription services are becoming very popular within the gaming industry. While the launch of Stadia has not been flawless, the people who have it seem to enjoy it to its fullest. Loads of cheap games will make almost anyone happy.
