Or Is It Big Friendly Sale?
Doom has gone down as one of the most important and influential video game franchises of all time. It really sets the bar high for run ‘n gun games and the Doom games stand the test of time. If you are a hardcore Doom fan or classic game enthusiast, you may already have these games in your library, but Steam is currently holding a big sale for all its Doom games this weekend. All titles are 67% off until tomorrow afternoon.
There isn’t an endless list of Doom titles, but most of them can be bought individually or in a bundle. You can get Doom Classic Complete, Doom II, Doom 3 Pack, Doom 3: BFG Edition, Doom (2016), and Doom VFR, again, all are 67% off their normal price. Doom Classic Complete includes Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, Doom II, and Doom II Master Levels for $5.60 CAD. Doom II is the standard edition for $1.81 CAD. The Doom 3 Pack comes with the standard game and the Resurrection Pack for $4.28 CAD. Doom 3: BFG Edition bundles the original Doom and Doom II, with a remastered Doom 3 for $7.25 CAD.
Doom (2016) is the soft reboot of the series, bringing the franchise to the modern age. You can pick it up for $8.24 CAD. Doom VFR is the franchise’s first step into VR territory. It has a lot of negative reviews, but if your computer is VR ready, you might want to try it out. It costs $13.19 CAD right now. There’s no sale on the upcoming Doom Eternal, but you can buy it ahead of its March 20, 2020 release date. Once again, you only have until tomorrow afternoon to take advantage of these prices.
