The PC Version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection is Inching Closer to Completion

Be Patient, You Can’t Rush Greatness

The Master Cheif Collection was a huge hit for the Xbox One. It turned out that fans were by no means of tired of running around the galaxy and blasting aliens in the face while playing as the iconic Master Cheif. However, this generous bundle was only available on the Xbox One, not PC. However, this all changed earlier this year when 343 Studios announced that the Master Cheif Collection would also be making a debut on to the desktop. Since then PC players have been justifiably excited and anxious. While development might feel slow, progress is being made.

The third test for the game is going to go live on November 5th. Unfortunately for the peasants, you’ll need to be invited to join in on the fun. But we should expect to hear from the people who are lucky enough to get in. There is going to be a lot available to the people playing as well.

The people involved in the third PC test will be able to play two different campaign missions from Halo Reach. These are going to be Noble Actual and Winter Contingency. The multiplayer aspect is going to be quite extensive. Classic game modes like Slayer and Bomb will all be present in the test. More obscure game modes like Invasion will also be making an appearance.

The test is going to focus exclusively around Halo Reach. So if you’re wanting to hear about the older titles, you’ll have to wait. Halo: The Master Chief Collection was rumored to be coming out sometime this year, but with November around the corner, it is very unlikely.

But who knows? Maybe if we all ask Santa for a Christmas miracle, he could make it happen.
