While some Xbox One and PC players might be feeling a little left out this weekend, everyone will get to play Ground War at the same time. And it’s set to be new and improved. If you’re a Call of Duty fan you’ll know that Ground War used to mean a 10v10 experience however now it’s set to be 10v10, 20v20, and even 32v32 on certain larger maps. These larger teams have made for some interesting and frantic gameplay moments in previous games and now it’s likely going to be amplified. So which one can you look forward to next weekend? The 32v32 Ground War mode is set to make its first appearance on Sept 21st.

If you’ve been playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta this weekend you might have noticed an in-game popup that alerted all players to the incoming Ground War game mode. This is what it says, “Thank you for playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta! We hope you’re enjoying everything we’ve shown you so far, but we aren’t done yet! On Saturday, September 21, during weekend two of the Beta, we’ll be taking your multiplayer experience to the next level. Taking place on a new map, Karst River Quarry, you’ll get your hands on 32v32 warfare in a new mode, Ground War.” Now if you aren’t currently playing, CharlieIntel posted the information on Twitter, which you can check out below.
