Monster Hunting and the Switch Don’t Mix According to Some
The Polish monster hunting game The Witcher 3 was announced to be making its debut for the Nintendo Switch only a few months ago. This caused many Nintendo fans to rejoice however not everyone shares the same amount of enthusiasm. Some critics have complained that the Switch simply does not have the impressive hardware to run the game how it was meant to be played.
For those unaware, The Witcher 3 was massive. It was arguably one of the most ambitious games made when it first arrived in 2015. The stunning graphics and crisp gameplay captivated audiences around the world. The Witcher 3 was the recipient of endless Game of the Year awards along with other accolades. However, fans of the game are now worried that the Switch will not have what it takes to facilitate a game of this magnitude.
A couple of trailers have recently released showcasing the gameplay on the Switch. They have raised a couple of eyebrows amongst some of the fans who played The Witcher 3 at release. The main critiques come from the bad graphics and goofy animations. You can judge for yourself.
If other would-be buyers are scared off by this trailer then don’t expect the Switch version of The Witcher 3 to do well. This would not be the first time that a game from the PC or other consoles has flopped on the Switch.
