Ghost Recon Breakpoint Has a New Trailer Showing Off Ghost War Mode

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming out in October so it is only fitting that people at Ubisoft give us just a little taste of what is to come. Ubisoft has just released a brand new trailer highlighting the return of Ghost War Mode. This game mode first debuted in Ghost Recon Wildlands and pitted two teams of four against one another in a very slow and tactical match to the death. This time it seems as though we will be getting more of the same but with a twist.

The trailer showcases what should be expected from any Tom Clancy game. Cool gadgets and gizmos that will help you defeat your opponents along with a vast array of high tech weapons. Teamwork is a major focal point of the series, and it is no different in Breakpoint. Working in tandem with your friends is going to be paramount. Running and gunning is something that will not go over well in this game. No one is a super soldier or able to soak up obscene amounts of damage. If you go in alone, you’ll probably end up dying alone.

The trailer did reveal something new, however.  As it winds down, the camera pans out and shows the players are being pushed closer and closer together by a forcefield around the map. Just like in Fornite or PUBG. It is not clear whether or not there will be a battle royale mode available or if this is just a tool to establish a nice pace to the action.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the very highly anticipated “sequel” to Ghost Recon Badlands. So it has a lot of hype to live up to.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint drops on October 6th for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
