The Xbox One Dashboard Gets Updated
The Xbox One’s dashboard recently received a redesign that aims to be more convenient and streamlined for users. According to a news post on Xbox Wire, this redesign will be subject to user feedback so this isn’t a permanent redesign.
“With this new experimental Home design, the first thing you’ll notice is we’ve removed the Twists from the top of Home in favor of separate buttons that launch your gaming experiences,” the news post explained. “The goal is to let you jump into Xbox Game Pass, Mixer, Xbox Community and Microsoft Store quicker than ever. We’ve also shifted things around to make more room for your recently played titles.”
This redesign will be available for “select Xbox Insiders in our Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead rings.”
The news post also detailed changes that are coming to the Xbox Skill for Cortana feature such as no longer being able to speak to Cortana with a headset. More details on that can be read here.
