Concrete Genie’s Release Date Gets Revealed
Concrete Genie is coming out on October 8th, the game’s developer Pixelopus announced Tuesday. The colorful action-adventure game is about a bullied teen named Ash and his magic paintbrush. After an evil force takes over his hometown of Denska, Ash has to use the magic paintbrush and his artistic skills to save the day.
The announcement also confirmed that the game will launch with a photo mode that has a rewind feature.
“We have added a special feature to [photo mode] – a timelapse style ‘Replay’ that allows you to show how you put your artistic compositions together,” the announcement read. “We can’t wait to see the images and clips of the artwork you’ll create once you get your hands on this feature.”
When it comes to price, the announcement revealed that the standard edition of the game will cost $29.99 USD while the digital deluxe edition costs $39.99 USD. In the great white north, Concrete Genie will launch for $39.99 CAD.
