Anthem Is Currently On Sale for a Really Cheap Price
New copies of BioWare’s big loot shooter Anthem currently cost $15 on Amazon and (naturally) used copies of the game are going for even less money.
Anthem has had a rough go of it since its February launch with middling critical reception and disappointing sales figures. The content roadmap got unexpectedly delayed in April and (despite being one of EA’s major releases this year) the game was noticeably a no-show during June’s EA Play event. Instead, other EA games such as Battlefield 5, the new FIFA, and the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order were shown.
Despite all these troubles, BioWare and EA have both publicly remained committed to improving the game and providing it with new content.
“Anthem does have a future — a very bright future, we hope,” BioWare producer Ben Irving reportedly said during EA Play last month. “We’ve learned a lot these past few months. We really want to make the game better — we believe Anthem can be a really amazing game. We know we have some work to do. We just want to work with the community and build it together and make it the game that everyone wants it to be.”
