Devolver makes a show of E3 like no one else. I’m not going to say if that’s good or bad, but at the very least they have fun with it each year. This year one of their announcements was a bundle of familiar Devolver games. It includes hits like Hotline Milwaukee and Enter the Gun Dungeon. If that sounds wrong, you’re not crazy. This bundle is called Devolver Bootleg. It takes Devolver games and makes them arcade versions of themselves. It is basically a fun little self-spoof.
The bundle is comprised of Enter the Gun Dungeon, Hotline Milwaukee, Ape Out Jr., Shootyboots, Super Absolver Mini: Turbo Fighting Championship, Catsylvania, PikuBiku Ball Stars, and Luftrousers. They even released a retro infomercial-style trailer for the bundle yesterday. Super Absolver Mini: Turbo Fighting Championship and PikuBiku Ball Stars are 2 player only, so you will have to find some friends to play with.
