Deals on Deals
If you are not currently downloading at least one of these games at the moment you should probably do so. The PlayStation Plus Store is giving its users the chance to download Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania for free. These two great games will be available for the entire month of June on the store. All you have to do is open the application on your PS4 and find the games of the month. Then it is yours forever. It is not every day that a big bundle deal like The Handsome Collection goes up for free. So if you ever wanted to try out the Borderlands franchise now is your time.
The Handsome Collection includes Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. So there are literally hundreds of hours of gameplay at your fingertips. The base game for those who don’t know focuses on taking down a villain called Handsome Jack. The prequel/sequel gives a back story to Handsome Jack. Both are ridiculous and loads of fun for anyone to try out the series for the first time or for those gearing up for Borderlands 3.
Sonic doesn’t need much of an explanation. Sonic Mania is essentially a remastering of classic sonic games. But it does have new levels of its own to offer longtime Sonic fans. It is a 2D scroller with all the things that made Sonic great. It also has a multiplayer feature so you can play with a friend too.
The free games of the month on PlayStation Plus can sometimes be underwhelming, but this is not one of those times. You should give both these games a shot. And remember, once you download them, you have them in your library forever.
