Apex Legends Is Coming to Mobile Phones
EA revealed during a Tuesday earnings call that the free battle royale game Apex Legends will have a mobile release sometime in the future and is also planned for release in China.
“We are in advanced negotiations to bring Apex Legends to China and to mobile, and we will update you on time frames when those negotiations are concluded,” part of the prepared remarks for EA CFO & COO Blake Jorgensen read.
No further details about this upcoming mobile release were revealed (such as a release date or window) but to keep up Apex Legends’ momentum, it’d make sense for EA to bring the game to mobile phones in order to expand the player base.
