Sure Looks Like Yakuza Kiwami 2 Is Heading to PC
An unannounced PC version of Yakuza Kiwami 2 was rated M for Mature by the ESRB recently. The PC version of the first Yakuza Kiwami remake launched on Steam last month so this rating could be legitimate.
PC players who are looking forward to getting their hands on Yakuza Kiwami 2 should read up on the game by using our handy review. Our reviewer wrote that while the remake was “a great place to start” for Yakuza newcomers, series veterans shouldn’t expect anything significantly new.
“After playing and reviewing a string of recent Yakuza games, I feel like I am repeating myself since so much is carried over from one title to the next,” the reviewer wrote. “For those of us who have been-there-done-that many times already, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is more of what you expect and you won’t find any shocking new changes or major gameplay wrinkles added this time around that you didn’t see in Yakuza Kiwami or Yakuza 6.”
“If you’ve never played a Yakuza game, however, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a great place to start, as the game offers an option to catch up on the story so far,” the reviewer also wrote. “If you have a Yen for more classic Yakuza fighting action, Kiryu’s latest saga has all the right moves.”
