New Persona 5 Character Reveal?
A couple of weeks ago, we received word of a new Persona 5 announcement. It reached our ears in the form of Persona 5 The Royal. No one really knows what it means, but, fortunately, we do have some new and concrete news.
The website tells us that we can expect a new Persona 5 announcement on April 25, 2019. Meanwhile, April 24, 2019, just happens to be the day the Persona Super Live Concert kicks off in Toyko. For all we know, the announcement could come while the concert is taking place. Something else worth noting, the website comes with a hidden calling card (thanks, Gematsu).

April 25, 2019.
We will show you a new Phantom Thieves that will turn the world’s cognition on its head.
We are energized by voices that seek satisfaction.
Once again, we will take your heart at the Ryougoku Kokugikan.

Will we be getting a new Phantom Thief as DLC? That’s my takeaway from the cryptic message. Of course, Nintendo hopefuls desire a Switch port more than anything else, and a port might explain the “S” in P5S game that was recently rumored. Ever since Nintendo confirmed Joker’s entry as a Super Smash Bros. DLC character, the internet has speculated nothing less than a new edition on the portable console.
We’ll update accordingly, should Atlus (or Nintendo) reveal any additional news on Persona 5. Stay tuned.
