Capcom posted a terribly short teaser trailer for what looks like a new arcade collection this morning. Posted to their social media accounts, the tiny video contains brief flashes of several promising arcade titles. The suspense is killing me. What treasures are they waiting to reveal?
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long at all before we find out. The post comes with a date, namely tomorrow morning 8 am PST. That’s hardly any time at all! Still, it’s long enough for a healthy dose of suspense and speculation. What games, what system, what wonders? TELL US CAPCOM.
The prevailing theory is that we’re getting some sort of arcade peripheral and collection all rolled into one. Games like Street Fighter 2, Giga Wing, Progear, Darkstalkers, and Alien Vs. Predator all show up onscreen, playing over a close-up of some arcade style buttons. Either it’s a hardware reveal, or we’re getting a digital arcade collection on modern consoles. I’m pretty happy with either option. After all, Alien Vs. Predator is on there! We’ll definitely keep you posted on just what the hell this new arcade MacGuffin turns out to be, so tune in tomorrow for all the hot goss.
