Up next at Inside Xbox, the video game giant has revealed yet another controller whose unique design should build quite a few collections. We’ve seen a white Xbox controller before—it’s nothing new—but here we have a translucent piece of tech that looks ready for the future.
Today, the Xbox Wireless Controller – Phantom White Special Edition is available for pre-order for the price of $69.99. Players everywhere can pick it up on April 2nd when it hits retail shelves. At a glance, the new piece looks like silk that lets you play games. Incredibly stylish, its material shifts before your very eyes to reveal gold components underneath. Quite frankly, there may be nothing else like it in the market, and it’s exclusive to Xbox One players. Of course, a collector could add it to their collection, without any caveats.
The Xbox Wireless Controller – Phantom White Special Edition is the second controller in our Phantom Series following the Phantom Black Special Edition. The design is the optimal blend of luxury and Sci-Fi, embodying a new slant on technical beauty. This controller reflects a sense of mystery with rich, neutral colors that fade away to reveal the technology inside. From top to bottom, this controller transitions from a high-tech translucent white with gold mechanical components underneath to an opaque matte white. The buttons, triggers, thumbsticks and bumpers are a sleek, glossy white with light grey accents. On the back, textured grips will help you stay on-target.
