Turok Lands on the Switch in March

The First Turok Game Is Going Handheld

A remastered version of the Nintendo 64 classic Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is launching on the Nintendo Switch on March 18th for $19.99, according to the gameโ€™s eShop webpage.

โ€œTurok is back and no dinosaur is safe!โ€ the webpage description read. โ€œWhen it was first released in 1997, Turok introduced gamers to a world teeming with cunning enemies, traps, puzzles and deadly weapons all within a vast 3D environment ready to explore. Now the classic game has been restored and enhanced with a new visual engine and exciting new features to sink your teeth into!โ€

Hereโ€™s the story premise of the game: Turok is a time-traveling warrior who has to stop a bad guy named โ€œThe Campaignerโ€ from using a powerful artifact called โ€œThe Chronoscepterโ€ which will allow The Campaigner โ€œto shred the fabric of time and rule the universeโ€. Our hero has to recover all eight parts of The Chronoscepter before The Campaigner gets his hands on them.

Also, this upcoming remaster will have 14 high-tech weapons for players to shoot its modded-out dinosaurs with (which may not seem like a lot but it was impressive in 1997).
