Here’s What we can Expect From Fortnite Season 8

New Additions for Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World

Another season, another Battle Pass. Luckily, for the players who completed the thirteen Overtime Challenges last season in the Share the Love event, this Battle Pass will be free. The Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass gives players instant access to the Blackheart and Hybrid outfits. It will also award fans with more than one hundred exclusive rewards. Unfortunately, there is no word of the Hand Cannon that I asked for when the theme was announced, so we all have to boycott Epic Games.

Fortnite Season 8

What can players expect from season 8? In Epic’s season 8 blog, they outlined additions for the Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World modes. In Battle Royale, a volcano has appeared, as well as two new locations Lazy Lagoon and Sunny Steps. There are also volcanic vents which can give players vertical boosts to glide off of. Fans who get the Battle Pass can upgrade it to a Battle Bundle and unlock a third outfit called Sidewinder. All three outfits can be leveled up for more styles. Players can also get help with their daily and weekly challenges with Party Assist. With this feature, friends can help each other in completing these social challenges.

Creative mode gets a couple of new additions as well. A Jungle Temple prefab is introduced as well as some pinball bumpers, just for fun and exclusive to Creative. Save the World has updated Hero Loadout features. Each hero can use different perks to change up the playstyle of the team, which can also select a team-perk for everyone. Eight new quests unlocking eight new heroes have been added as well. Fortnite Season 8 has started up yesterday, so get Fortnite-ing!
