Pirates are IN this Year!
Season seven is coming to a close, and with the arrival of season eight comes a new theme and new changes to the game. So say goodbye to the icy areas and airplanes. Yes, airplanes are being vaulted when season eight starts up. That’s not the only change coming. Like I said, you will likely say goodbye to the icy areas. That is because the theme for Fortnite season 8 will be pirates! Fortnite tweeted an image with a pirate’s hook and a short sea shanty with it. “‘X’ Marks The Spot, Treasure abound, Loot that has been lost, Can always be found. 4 days to Season 8.”
Stop. Speculation Time. If there is no gun in the shape of a cannon called Hand Cannon, then boycott Epic Games. Fans don’t deserve that type of laziness. And the Battle Bus could to with a sail or something. Maybe players can get a shovel to replace their pickaxe if there is any treasure to be unearthed. These are just some great ideas off the top of my head. I’m sure Epic Games has some good stuff planned.
I do have one question though: Which dance is Epic Games going to use and subsequently get sued for using? Are there any memorable dances from Pirates of the Caribbean? Maybe they should choose a safer route and just add a sea shanty emote like Sea of Thieves did. One this is for sure, Fortnite will definitely put the SEA in SEAson 8! You can have that one for free, Epic Games.
