Our Favourite Sony Ladies Get Together for some Games
Happy International Women’s Day! In celebration of women, Sony has released a free International Women’s Day theme for PS4. It features various women in PlayStation exclusive titles like Uncharted and Horizon Zero Dawn. This year’s art was created by Guerrilla Games concept artist Choro Choi. 2018’s theme was done by Media Molecule’s Maja-Lisa Kehlet featured six characters, some of the ones we see in this year’s. This year, we see ten getting together for a night in with the girls.
From left to right, we see Freya from God of War, Nadine and Chloe from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. On top of the couch sits Atoi from Tearaway, then Lady Maria from Bloodborne. On the floor we see Ellie from The Last of Us, Kara from Detroit: Become Human. And rushing over to join is Kat from Gravity Rush and Sackgirl from LittleBigPlanet. We also see some colourful imps from Media Molecule’s Dreams hanging out with some of the characters, and one hiding in a bowl of popcorn. I see you! With two bowls and a bouquet, it’s safe to say the snack of choice among PlayStation ladies is popcorn.
It would be nice if Microsoft had an International Women’s Day background theme, too. We could get Cortana from Halo, Kait Diaz from Gears of War 4, Joule from Recore, and… Uh… anymore Xbox One exclusives? Are there any female racecars from Forza? Well, the PS4 theme is free right now. Last year’s theme is also free and still available, so if you missed it, you can still pick it up.
