Morrowind is mostly known as the title that really brought the Elder Scrolls series into the mainstream, and was the first title in the series with specifically designed dungeons (Arena and Daggerfall’s were randomly generated). It was also the first Elder Scrolls game to make the leap to console on the original Xbox. The game’s success cemented it as one of the most important and influential titles of the 2000s.
If you wanna see what Morrowind would look like with more modern graphics, the only way to do that is through the Elder Scrolls Online MMO, which is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, including PlayStation Now and Xbox Game Pass. Elder Scrolls VI is also currently in development, though it may be quite a while before we get our hands on it.
