Apex Legends’ Battle Pass Listed at $10; New Character Revealed

Battle Pass for the Price of Games Pass

We’ve already heard about the Battle Pass for Apex Legends, but developer Respawn has yet to reveal concrete info or a price. That may have changed with the latest screenshot of the Origin page. According to the official website, the battle royale’s battle pass could go for as low as $9.99, or 950 Apex Coins.

Over on Reddit, one user posted a screenshot of the Origin landing page that details new info about the Apex Legends Battle Pass. Unfortunately, the landing page has since been removed. And since we cannot verify the source at the time of this writing, feel free to take everything with a grain of salt. While the page claims the Battle Pass can be purchased in the in-game store, we don’t see it Origin, the PlayStation Store, or the Xbox Marketplace.  Along with news of a Season 01 Battle Pass, the screenshot introduces the latest legend to the roster, Octane.

“Survive the arena, meet the Apex Games’ latest Legend, Octane, wield new weapons and secure unique loot. The Season 01 Battle Pass is here, purchase it at the in-game store for 950 Apex Coins,” the official page reads.

Is it suspicious how the new legend looks like a Borderlands character? Yes. Does it really matter in the long run? No. But we’ll have to wait before seeing what he can do. Stay tuned for updates on Apex Legends, the battle royale that recently hit a record 50-million player count.
