Spider-Man and Detroit: Become Human Have Now Been Discounted Permanently
If you’ve been waiting to pick up two huge games that dropped last year, you’re officially in luck. Two major PlayStation 4 exclusives of 2018, Spider-Man and Detroit: Become Human, have just been given the ol’ discount treatment and it’s not just for a sale, it’s a permanent move by Sony.
Now as you may already know Detroit: Become Human has already received one permanent price drop, which means that it has officially joined the less than $20 club. That’s right, it’s not available for an absolute steal, at $19.99 USD. Now if you’re unsure of what to expect from the game, here’s what we had to say in our review when the game launched in May 2018: “With amazingly realistic graphics, intense music, rich characters, and a dynamic decision scheme, this action adventure title is enthralling from it’s opening scene to the very end, and if you let it, it will take you on a journey to what feels like an entirely different world.”
On the other hand, Spider-Man, a GOTY nominee has just received it’s first permanent price drop and it’s only been a little over 5 months since its release back in September! Spider-Man is now available for $40 USD, much like the biggest PS4 exclusive of the year and GOTY winner, God of War, which received a price cut a little while back. Here’s a little snippet from our Spider-Man review, just in case you were on the fence about it, “The web-slinging is brilliant, the combat is deceptively deep and diverse, and there are a million things to do. The story is emotional, resonant, and teases fans of the series in countless ways. It’s one of the best looking games of the year, and honestly, one of the best games I’ve ever played, full stop.”
Can’t complain about being able to pick up one of the most praised games of 2018 on the cheap now can we? Are you planning on picking up Spider-Man, Detroit: Become Human, or maybe even both? Let us know what you think about these price drops in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked to see which games could be next to receive solid discounts.
