Mortal Kombat 11 Reintroduces Kabal to Their Fighting Game Roster

The Hook Blades are Back

Another day, another fatality; Mortal Kombat 11 will be flushed with many more bodies by April. Today, developer NetherRealm has introduced (or reintroduced) Kabal as a playable character.

Nope, this post isnโ€™t solely dedicated to Kabal. Announced at Inside Xbox, Dโ€™vorah, the humanoid insect woman, will return to the roster (Thanks, IGN). Expect a gameplay showcase in due time. Another video brings new highlights for the second addition to the roster. Last week, Kano hit the roster with a new polish to his eye. This time, itโ€™s Kabal, and heโ€™s back from the dead to showcase the reach of his hook blades. Since he skipped a game with Mortal Kombat X, he has a lot to make up for. Some of his signature moves are back, but, like the rest of the roster, he comes with some twistsโ€ฆ literally.

Below, youโ€™ll find the gameplay video featuring Kabal.

Unlike its predecessor, Mortal Kombat 11 will feature a comprehensive customization system, though markedly different from what we saw in Injustice 2. Players will have the opportunity to choose character skins and customize a set list of accessories. Series creator Ed Boon also teased an all-new single player system with rewards in the form of cosmetics.

Mortal Kombat 11 arrives for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2019. Weโ€™re still at the beginning of character reveals, so expect many more roster additions and showcases in the coming weeks. Weโ€™ll be updating the list as they arrive.
