The Beloved Catherine Classic Finally Comes to PC Today

Download Catherine Classic Now on Steam

For the first time ever, the cult-hit action puzzle game Catherine is finally out on PC today in the form of Catherine Classic. It can be downloaded for only £14.99 / $19.99 / €19.9 on Steam.

Catherine Classic is essentially the same game fans have loved since 2011, but now optimized for PC. It features 4K resolution support, an unlocked framerate, customizable keyboard and mouse support, and even optional Japanese VoiceOver. If anyone purchases the game within its first two weeks, they’ll receive free digital deluxe content like desktop and mobile wallpapers, avatars, and soundtrack samples.

If you’ve never played the original on PS3 or Xbox 360 and would like to see what the fuss is all about, Catherine tells a “twisting tale of love, betrayal, and the terror of commitment.” You play as Vincent, who is struggling with the decision to either marry his long-time girlfriend Katherine or to keep seeing the sexier and seductive Catherine, whom he’s only just met but spent the night with. At night, Vincent has horrible nightmares in which he must climb his way up to survival in complex block-moving puzzles. In between puzzles, Vincent has to make decisions by responding to either woman through text messages. These choices offer branching paths and they can impact the game’s final ending.

Catherine: Full Body

An updated remastered version called Catherine: Full Body is coming to PS4 and PS Vita on February 14th in Japan, with a Western release yet to be announced. Full Body will contain a new third love interest (basically a love triangle now) named Rin.
