Black Ops 4 Updates Continue to Roll Out Next Week

The New Year is Chock Full of Black Ops 4 Content so far

Earlier this week, Black Ops 4 saw a patch that fixed some bugs, as you would expect. It also added more game types to the featured playlists in multiplayer. It is the first of a few Black Ops 4 updates coming this month. This playlist is called Endurance Chaos Moshpit, which sounds like Treyarch just took the three coolest words they could find and through them together. They also added to the featured multiplayer category Mercenary Capture Moshpit, Mercenary Hardcore Moshpit, Deathmatch Moshpit, and Map Pack Moshpit. My guess is that Treyarch hired Cannibal Corpse to name their gametypes.

That was all like, four days ago, so that’s old news. Next week is another monster entirely. Each game mode gets something new. It’s like an Oprah Winfrey show. Zombies gets something called Gauntlet. Gauntlet is a three-tier game (with 10 rounds in each tier) that awards bronze, silver, or gold for each tier players beat. Each round, totaling to 30 rounds, has unique rules for them. This mode also grants double XP and double weapon XP from January 15th-18th. The first of the Gauntlets is called Unsinkable on the Voyage of Despair map.

Blackout gets an improved looting interface for console users. Killing people and taking their stuff has never been easier! There are new game modes coming for a limited time, but Treyarch has not released any details about them as of yet. Black Ops multiplayer is adding two maps Elevation and Madagascar for players who have the Black Ops Pass. In my opinion, it won’t be worth it unless there is a David Schwimmer cameo. Treyarch has also announced that there will be more maps added in the future.

Has Treyarch covered all its bases? Let us know in the comments below.
