The Firm Claims That Fallout 76 Is โ€œA Heavily-Glitched Gameโ€

Bethesda Game Studios is being investigated by a Washington D.C. law firm for allegedly refusing to give refunds for the PC version of Fallout 76 and for releasing the game in its buggy state, according to a Monday announcement published on the firmโ€™s website.

โ€œMigliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating Bethesda Game Studios for releasing a heavily-glitched game, Fallout 76, and refusing to issue refunds for PC purchasers of the game who found it to be unplayable because of its technical problems,โ€ their announcement read. โ€œWhile minor bugs and glitches are expected with the release of most new games, Fallout 76 launched with a 56GB patch that has proven to be but a starting point for the gameโ€™s problems.โ€

โ€œGamers who have tried to receive a refund because of the gameโ€™s myriad glitches have been unable to do so since they downloaded the game, leaving them to deal with an unplayable experience until patches bring it back to a playable state,โ€ the announcement added.

Weโ€™ve reached out to Fallout 76โ€™s publisher, Bethesda Softworks, for comment and will update the story if we get a response.

The bugs & glitches of Fallout 76 are often brought up as criticisms against it. Our own review of the game described it as โ€œa broken, unfun, and repetitive titleโ€ that wasnโ€™t worth recommending for purchase partly due its bugginess.
