There’s Even Pictures To Prove It
Halloween is a time for cool costumes and rash decisions. Okay, so that last one is a part of every holiday celebrated by adults who drink. The costumes thing still checks out, though. Brie Larson posted some sweet photos of herself done up as Samus Aran that had people pretty jazzed.
As embedded above, the photos do more than illuminate a new world of fan fiction. This isn’t just about Waluigi batting above his average. No, this is about how dang appropriate Larson seems as the iconic galactic bounty hunter. In fact, fans seem to think she’d be perfect the role.
Not just fans, either. Larson herself thinks this would be awesome! I’m totally on board for this hypothetical project, but a couple of things stand in our way. One, Nintendo might still be gunshy about live action adaptations after the last one went so well. Two, if this whole ‘Captain Marvel’ thing works out, it’s possible that Larson will be pretty busy. Too busy to be playing a badass bounty hunter, even. That doesn’t make me want this any less, though. I’ll even take a movie based on Other M! Let’s just get Samus on the silver screen.
