What Could This New Alien Game Be?
A trademark application for a new game titled “Alien: Blackout” was filed on Thursday by 20th Century Fox, according to an official webpage on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) website.
According to the webpage, this game will also have some type of online functionality. As for when this game might be officially revealed, well the Twitter page for The Game Awards certainly looks interesting. The header image for the page has a possibly Alien-themed image that depicts the words “Worlds Will Change” multiple times.
There’s also the fact that when the famous video game developer Hideo Kojima recently visited 20th Century Fox and posted pictures of himself pointing at an Alien movie poster & standing in front of a xenomorph egg, that same TGA account tweeted in response, “World will change!”
The Game Awards show is scheduled to broadcast on December 6th and it could feature plenty of surprise reveals or announcements. It is possible that this Alien: Blackout game could be revealed during the show.
