Pokémon GO Grossed Nearly $85 Million in Revenue in September

Pokémon GO Is One of the Most Successful Mobile Games of the Year

Pokémon GO grossed $84.8 million in revenue last month and also had 8.86 million downloads during that same period, according to the estimates of a mobile app analysis website.

According to the site, Sensor Tower, last month’s revenue was “Pokémon GO’s highest since November 2017, and it marks a month-over-month increase of 15 percent from August—and an 89 percent year-over-year improvement compared to September 2017.”

Sensor Tower’s data also shows that September was Pokémon GO’s “strongest month for installs in 2018 so far” and saw a 100% increase over the amount of downloads that the mobile game had in September 2017.

Their data also shows that the popular mobile game has made $2.01 billion globally (in terms of estimated gross revenue) and has had 522 million downloads since it launched back in July 2016.
