MediEvil Remake News Coming Soon, According to Sony

Not Many Details Are Currently Known About the MediEvil Remake

News about the anticipated remake of the PS1 classic, MediEvil, is going to be coming soon, according to comments made during an official PlayStation podcast.

“I have it on excellent authority that one [Sony chairman] Shawn Layden is going to be stopping back on the show in the next week or two,” said PlayStation social media director Sid Shuman on the latest episode of the podcast. “He’s very excited to give everybody a big update on MediEvil.”

Shuman added that Layden “is going to be on the show in the next week or so and give us all an update on [the remake].”

He then encouraged listeners to send in email questions about the MediEvil remake and other PlayStation projects to the podcast so that Layden could answer them when he returns to the podcast in the near future.

The MediEvil remake was first announced during PSX 2017 and was supposed to launch in 2018. However, that currently seems unlikely given how close the year is to ending.
