Halo Infinite Will Be a No-Show At Next Month’s Xbox Conference
Halo Infinite isn’t “currently planned” to appear at next month’s big Xbox conference, X018, according to Halo developer 343 Industries. The upcoming conference, planned for November 10th to the 11th, is said to be a “global celebration of all things Xbox”.
“I’d love to start getting more info out there, and we’re talking internally about what/when/where/how, but nothing currently planned for X018,” tweeted Brian Jarrard, the community director of 343 Industries, last week.
Fans had previously speculated that Halo Infinite, which was first revealed during this year’s E3, was going to make another appearance at X018. After all, the conference will have “news, first looks, and surprises” for Xbox fans, according to its official website. Unfortunately for those fans, the next Halo game won’t be at the conference.
In other Halo Infinite news: it’ll have microtransactions but they won’t be “real-money loot boxes,” according to 343 Industries.
